Terms and Conditions

Use Pint Path fairly, accurately, and responsibly.

These terms govern access to Pint Path, including the public map, accounts, submissions, contributor points, paid access, venue tools, and beta features.

Last updated: 12 July 2026. Pint Path is provided in Victoria, Australia. Questions, notices, billing disputes, and legal requests can be sent through the tracked Contact us form.

0. Plain-English scope

These terms describe the Pint Path service and product rules. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

1. Eligibility and responsible use

Pint Path is intended for adults aged 18+ in Victoria, Australia. You must not use Pint Path to encourage unsafe drinking, unlawful alcohol supply, harassment, venue abuse, or activity that breaches venue rules or responsible service of alcohol obligations.

Prices, happy hours, stock, opening hours, and availability may change. Check with the venue before ordering. Venues may refuse service.

2. Accounts and acceptance

To create an account, upload data, verify data, earn contribution points, or access private features, you must confirm you are 18+ and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping login details secure and for activity performed through your account.

3. Community submissions

Submissions must be accurate, current, venue-specific, and based on genuine observations. Do not submit guesses, old screenshots, fake menus, copied data, competitor sabotage, spam, private personal information, illegal content, or content you do not have permission to provide.

Submitted data may remain pending until reviewed. Approved data may be normalized, edited for consistency, merged with other records, or published publicly on the map. Rejected or disputed submissions may remain privately visible to reviewers for audit and abuse-prevention purposes.

4. Points, access, and anti-abuse rules

Contribution points and freemium unlocks are discretionary beta features. Points may be reduced, withheld, reversed, or removed if a submission is stale, unverifiable, duplicated, outside the location proof rules, suspicious, abusive, or rejected.

You must not exploit the points system, automate fake submissions, create multiple accounts to bypass limits, tamper with requests, spoof location, scrape private endpoints, manipulate reviews, bypass paywalls, reverse engineer access controls, or interfere with the platform.

5. Leaderboards and discount passes

Leaderboards count approved Pint Path submissions only. Pending, rejected, duplicated, fraudulent, or reversed submissions do not count. We may correct leaderboard standings if review outcomes change or abuse is detected.

Display names/usernames must be unique and must not be disrespectful, racist, homophobic, hateful, abusive, sexually explicit, threatening, impersonating Pint Path or venues, or otherwise derogatory. We do not tolerate rude or discriminatory names and may rename, restrict, or ban accounts that use them.

Discount codes and QR passes are personal, rotating, and non-transferable. You must not share, sell, screenshot for later resale, replay, automate, forge, or otherwise misuse discount passes. Venue staff may refuse a discount if a code is expired, invalid, suspicious, or not connected to an eligible account.

6. Bans, restrictions, and enforcement

We may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that exploit the service, submit false data, abuse venues or users, bypass security controls, scrape protected data, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with payments, violate these terms, or create legal, safety, privacy, or operational risk.

We may remove submissions, revoke points, revoke contributor unlocks, block uploads, limit access, preserve evidence, and report serious abuse to relevant providers or authorities where appropriate.

7. Public data and private evidence

Public map data may include approved venue details, normalized beer prices, happy-hour summaries, verification/freshness indicators, and aggregate public-facing content. Raw source evidence, upload proof, private user data, reviewer notes, billing records, and individual analytics are not public map data.

8. Venue managers and paid venue insights

Venue-manager access must be approved or assigned. Venue managers may only access assigned venues. Paid venue analytics are aggregate, area-level reports with privacy thresholds and must not be used to identify individual users or competitor-private data.

9. Paid access and billing

Paid consumer and venue subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew automatically for the displayed billing period until cancelled. You can open Stripe billing management from Account or the assigned venue portal to update payment details, view available invoices, or cancel. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access normally continues until the end of the current paid period.

Stripe receipts and invoices show the payment and any applicable tax information. Refunds are not automatic for a change of mind, but we assess billing errors, duplicate charges, service failures, and rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Send a billing-support request through Contact us and include the account ID, transaction date, and issue without including full card details.

10. Availability and changes

Pint Path may change, pause, remove, or limit features during beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect data accuracy, complete venue coverage, or availability of any price or happy hour shown in the app.

11. Liability and contact

Use Pint Path at your own discretion. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pint Path is not responsible for venue decisions, price changes, reliance on stale data, user-submitted errors, or losses caused by misuse of the service. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If you find incorrect data, unsafe content, security issues, privacy concerns, or a billing problem, contact us through the Contact us page.

12. Privacy, deletion, and store listings

Privacy, export, and deletion requests are handled through the Privacy Policy, Account support controls, and Contact us page. Native app listings should link to the same Privacy Policy and account/data deletion instructions unless a final legal review creates app-specific wording.
