Community Standards

Submit what you actually saw at the venue.

Pint Path works when contributors share fresh, venue-specific beer-price and happy-hour evidence. These standards protect the map, venues, and other users.

Good submissions

  • Use a current menu, tap list, receipt, or happy-hour board.
  • Choose the exact venue from Pint Path search before uploading.
  • Use the correct serving size, beer name, and price.
  • Upload from the venue where possible so points can be location-verified.
  • Add notes when something is unclear, seasonal, or limited.

Not allowed

  • Guessing prices, copying stale screenshots, or submitting a friend’s tip as your own visit.
  • Spoofing location, automating submissions, or creating accounts to farm points.
  • Uploading private IDs, payment details, staff/customer personal information, or unsafe content.
  • Submitting competitor sabotage, spam, harassment, or venue abuse.
  • Trying to bypass paid access, reviewer workflows, or security controls.
Moderation

Minor mistakeSubmission rejected or marked needs more info.
Stale or low-value dataReduced points or no points, especially if the venue was just updated.
Suspicious activityPoints removed, uploads limited, account reviewed, or evidence preserved for audit.
Abuse or exploitationAccount restrictions, ban, or provider report where appropriate.

Appeal or correct something

If a submission was wrongly rejected or account action seems incorrect, use the moderation appeal category so it reaches the right queue.
